Dr. N. Mini Raj, Professor (Horticulture) has got 32 years of service in Kerala Agricultural University. She is actively involved in teaching, research and extension in the field of Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic crops. She has more than 50 research publications, one book on Spices and several chapters in books to her credit and serves as resource person in the field of natural resource management, tribal empowerment, spices and medicinal plants. She serves as life member in several scientific societies and panels and guides post graduate students in Horticulture. Recipient of the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for the doctoral programme in Horticulture, she has received the young scientist award of Kerala state Council for science, Technology and Environment and the Indian Science Congress Association for the research contributions in Horticultural science. Dr. N. Mini Raj is also recipient of the best researcher award of the Kerala Agricultural University during 2018. She has to her credit, five high yielding varieties of nutmeg and is in charge of the Model Nursery on Spices, an accredited Spice nursery with 4 star rating.

Dr. Mini Raj currently serves as the Project Coordinator (Aromatic and Medicinal Plants), as Nodal Officer (Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture) at the University and as member, BSMA committee for Horticulture at ICAR.
