As per the initiative of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) it has been directed to implement scientific beekeeping at the available space in the unit campuses of Central Armed Police Forces in collaboration with National Honey Mission. As part of this, National Bee Board (NBB) has shared a complete list of State/ Central govt. institutions offering courses on scientific beekeeping across the country along with nodal officers of state/ zone wise.
Accordingly, a three-day training programme on scientific beekeeping has been conducted from 11 th to 13 th of November, 2024 at AICRP on Honey Bees and Pollinators, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Vellayani, Thiruvananthapuram for the second batch of CAPFs officials at AICRP on Honey Bees and Pollinators, RARS(SZ) Vellayani. A total of 15 Central Industrial Security Force officials from different parts of the state participated in the training programme.
