Kerala Agricultural University is offering a two year Diploma in Agricultural Sciences from IAT & RARS Pattambi since 2011 on cost sharing basis.
Scope of the course : The students who complete Diploma in Agricultural Sciences are employable in Agriculture and related fields. The Kerala Public Service Commission has prescribed Diploma in Agricultural Sciences offered by Kerala Agricultural University as the qualification for the post of Agricultural Assistants in Department of Agriculture Development and Farmer's Welfare, Kerala. Based on the entrance examination there are ten seats reserved for Diploma in Agricultural Sciences holders for admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture at Kerala Agricultural University.
