Dr.Nisha.M.S, Assistant Professor, AICRP on Nematodes, RARS (SZ), Vellayani along with entomologist Nafeesa, M., CRS Pampadumpara and Agricultural Officer, Upputhara KB visited the slow wilt affected areas in Upputhara panchayat of Idukki district. Combined infection of plant parasitic Nematodes, root mealy bugs, and fungal pathogens was observed in black pepper plants. Soil application of Farm yard manure enriched with Trichoderma and Purpureocillium was recommended. Soil drenching with Lecanicillium lecani @ 20g/ l was also recommended for root mealy bug management
