Guided 17 M.Sc students, served as external examiner in various universities in the nation and organized various trainings. Expert in the field of microbial diversity, biofertilizers and metagenomic study of bacterial diversity in various ecosystems. Served as ADR (M&E), Chief Coordinator (LAMPS), Controller of Examinations, Director of Academics and currently the Registrar of Kerala Agricultural University.

The successful commercialization of bioagents in the form of composting tonic for waste management both in large scale as well as household level were developed. Designed KAU Smart Biobin for convenient and efficient composting of household waste generated at the source itself. Developed efficient method for the conversion of human hair waste into liquid fertilizer.

• Course director, DBT funded National training program for 21 days on Microbial diversity and gene prospecting through metagenomics from 16th January to 5th February 2013
• Course Director, ICAR Winter School from 8th to 28th January 2009 at CPBMB, College of Horticulture as Course Director, on “Isolation and cloning of defense genes in plants”
• Course Director of National Model Training Course on “Techniques & Applications of Biotechnology top combat climate change” funded by the Directorate of Extension, Ministry of Agriculture from 18th to 25th September 2009
• Organizing Secretary, DST sponsored National Symposium on ‘Waste Management: Experiences and Strategies’  organized at College of Horticulture, Vellanikkara from 5th to 7thJanuary 2011
• Organized 25 training programmes for scientists, college lecturers and students on ‘Techniques in Plant Biotechnology & Techniques in Microbial Biotechnology’ during the past five years
