Shalu Saseendran, a 2019 Batch student from the B.Sc.- M.Sc. (Integrated) Biotechnology program, received the Best Oral Presentation award at the International Conference on Advancements and Innovations in Phytochemistry, Nutraceuticals, and Functional Foods, hosted by the Kerala Academy of Sciences. Her research, titled "Antiangiogenic and Cytotoxic Activity of Pogostemon quadrifolius (Benth.) Leaf Extract Against Lung and Breast Cancer Cell Lines," was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sindura K. P., with advisory support from Dr. Soni K. B., Dr. Swapna Alex, and Dr. Krithiga K.
