National Seminar on Soil and Water Symbiosis for Sustainable Agriculture @ College of Agriculture, Vellayani

         World Soil Day is celebrated annually on December 5th to focus attention on the importance of conserving soil health and advocating sustainable management of natural resources. The theme for World Soil Day 2023 as suggested by FAO is Soil and Water, A Source of Life. The Department of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Kerala Agricultural University is organizing a National Seminar on “Soil and Water Symbiosis for Sustainable Agriculture” on 5th and 6th December 2023. There will be technical sessions, and oral and poster presentations under the themes viz. Soil Health and Climate Change, Water Quality and Sustainable Agriculture and IoT in Soil Science. See the attached brochure for registration and more details.
