Gopika Somanath, Dr

Completed graduation from the College of Agriculture, Vellayani, TVPM, M.Sc (Extension Education) from the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar with ICAR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and University Gold Medal and PhD from the College of Agriculture, Vellayani. Secured Young Scientist award in 2008 and qualified ARS – NET and UGC – CSIR NET. Worked with the Department of Vocational Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala for nine years before joining KAU in March 2019.
