With urbanisation progressing rapidly in Kerala, space available for crop cultivation is declining. The open space on the terrace of the house can be used for sustainable food production. A easily replicable, model integrated terrace garden of 3 cents capable of generating 300-350 kg safe to eat food has been developed at IFSRS, Karamana.
