An album documenting the rice research interventions for the past 20 years in the North Kerala, was released during the 37th and 38th Zonal Research and Extension Advisory Council (NZ). The album was released by Dr. Jiju P. Aex Director of Extension, KAU on 02.06.2021
Documentary CD on Hands on training on Mechanised Organic Rice Farming entitled "Yanthravathkrutha jaiva nel krishi prayogika pravruthi parisheelana paripaadi - Njattadi muthal koythu vare karshakante paadath" was released on 2021 June 2, by Dr. Madhu Subramanian, Director of Research, KAU during the 37th ans 38th Zonal Research and Extension Advisory Council (NZ). The CD documents the detailed distinct phases og the training program conducted by RARS Pilicode and accounts as manual for organic rice farming.
യന്ത്രവൽകൃത ജൈവനെൽകൃഷി പരിശീലനത്തിന്റെ സമാപനവും, പരിശീലനം പ്രാവർത്തികമാക്കിയ കുളവയൽ പാടശേഖരത്തിൽ രണ്ടാം വിള സമയം 7 ഏക്ര സ്ഥലത്തെ യന്ത്രവൽകൃത ജൈവനെൽകൃഷി മിഷന്റെ കൊയ്ത്തുൽഘാടനവും 2021 മാർച്ച്‌ 29ന്‌ വൈകുന്നേരം 3 മണിക്ക്‌ ജൈവ കർഷക കൂട്ടായ്മ നിർവഹിച്ചു. അന്നേ ദിവസം രാവിലെ കിനാത്തിൽ വായനശാലയിൽ വെച്ച്‌ നടക്കുന്ന ഡോക്യൂമെന്ററി പ്രദർശനം, കാർഷിക സെമിനാർ, ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക്‌ കുളവയൽ പാടശേഖര പരിസരത്ത്‌ വെച്ച്‌ കാർഷിക പ്രദർശനം, അഗ്രോക്ളിനിക്‌ എന്നിവയും നടത്തി
In a response to the 'Subiksha Keralam' call of Government of Kerala, the RARS Pilicode of Kerala Agricultural University initiated an innovative, massive participatory vegetable seed production programme lead by Sri. P.K. Retheesh, Assistant Professor (Agronomy) and Nodal Officer of Planting Material Production in association with the Open Jail and Correction Home at Cheemeni. The target fixed is production of one tonne of high yielding quality vegetable seeds by the inmates of jail under the technical supervision of the RARS on a buy back arrangement.
International Women’s day celebration was organized at RARS Pilicode by the Internal Complaints Committee and the Staff Club on 8/3/201 at the Roof Top auditorium of RARS Pilicode. The function was presided over by Dr. T. Vanaja, Associate Director. Dr. Vanaja spoke about how gender concept evolved over centuries and how important is our family values in protecting the dignity of women. Adv.
